Veronika Kruta is back in town! For those who don’t know her, Veronika has been dancing tango since 2005 and teaching since 2011. Known for her clear, encouraging approach, she helps dancers move beyond accumulating information to truly understand how tango works. Drawing on body mechanics, relational dynamics, musical expression, and tango’s underlying architecture, she helps students build strong fundamentals and create more expressive, connected dances.

Based in Buenos Aires for over 13 years, Veronika’s teaching is shaped by her immersion in Argentine culture and social tango, as well as her backgrounds in yoga, fine art, and life coaching.

We will start with an open tango class starting at 7pm for 1 hour. At 8:00pm we will open the dance floor for a guided practica for 1.5 hours. Instructors and Advanced dancers will be around during the practice session to answer questions and help you work on mastering steps, basics…or just dance.

Instructor Phil Ciotti provides FREE Argentine Tango Lessons on Thursday nights at the St. Johnsbury Welcome Center. Beginners at 6PM and intermediates starting at 7PM, followed by a bit of practice time.

This event is every Thursday, except the 4th Thursday of the month.

Casual smooth leather-soled shoes are recommended.

First Thursday of the month is a practica only, other weeks there is a class.
